School of Fine Arts I

  • Study module Skills of Visual Expression (2.5 cr).
  • The studies are mainly intended for primary school students in grades 1-2.
  • Older children can also take part in the class if there is space in the group.
  • There are 68 lessons, of which 60 hours are contact hours.
  • Independent work / assessment 8 hours.
  • The aim of the teaching is to guide the student to use the means and concepts of pictorial expression.
  • In teaching, basic skills of pictorial expression, pictorial thinking, the use of different tools, taking care of tools and working in a group are practiced.

School of Fine Arts II

  • Study module Cultural Heritage (2.5 cr).
  • The studies are mainly intended for students in grades 2-4 of primary school.
  • There are 68 lessons, of which 60 hours are contact hours.
  • The aim of the teaching is to encourage the student to study the visual art of different times and cultures and to inspire the student to apply the world of images of different times and cultures in his or her own pictorial expression. The starting point for one’s own artistic work is e.g. art catalogs from different eras.

School of Fine Arts III

  • Study module Visual Environment (2.5 cr)
  • The studies are mainly intended for 3rd to 5th grade students in primary school.
  • There are 68 lessons, of which 60 hours are contact hours.
  • The aim of the teaching is to guide the student to a diverse and multisensory perception of the environment and to arouse the student’s interest in examining the interaction between man, nature and the built environment.
  • In teaching, the study of the visual environment, the products of the visual arts and they are used as a starting point for one’s own artistic activity, for example, the construction of scale models in the study of architecture.

School of Fine Arts IV

  • Art and Technology (3.5 cr)
  • The studies are mainly intended for students in grades 4-6 of primary school.
  • There are 96 lessons, of which 88 hours are project studies / multiform teaching.
  • The aim of teaching is to support the development of the student’s conception of art and to build the student’s personal relationship with contemporary art, media and technology.
  • The teaching introduces the manifestations of contemporary art and considers the role and values ​​of contemporary art.

If necessary, part of the teaching can be arranged as distance learning.

The material fee for the academic year is included in the price of the course.
