Libraries’ exceptional opening hours in 2022

All libraries will be closed on annual holidays and on Sundays following an annual holiday. Shorter opening hours will be followed on the day before a national holiday in 2022 in the following fashion:

    May Day, 1 May 

    Ascension Day, 26 May

    All Saints’ Day, 5 November 

    Independence Day, 6 December 

    Christmas Eve, 24 December 

    Christmas Day, 25 December 

    Boxing Day, 26 December 

  • Twelfth Night, 5 January 

    Maundy Thursday, 14 April 

    May Day Eve, 30 April 

    Ascension Day’s eve, 12 May 

    Midsummer Eve’s eve, 23 June (10:00–18:00, Main Library)

    New Year’s Eve, 31 December 

    On days before a holiday, the mobile library will return from its route at 15:00. 

    Self-service time will begin at 15:00 on the eve of a mid-week holiday. 

    Otanmäki Library is closed on Fridays.
