In the spring of 2021, you can hear the buzzing of bees in the Kajaani Art Museum when graphic artist and painter Ritva-Liisa Virtanen presents her life’s work controlled by bees – using the power of a million bees.
Everything I have learned, I learned from the bees at the Kajaani Art Museum 18.2– 16.5.2021.

Check out the video of the Väreilyä (The Ripple) exhibition
Väreilyä (The Ripple) is an exhibition aimed at children cantered around the themes of colour and emotions. The tasty pieces of colour in the exhibition have been picked from the art museum’s collection and an experiential colour adventure has been conjured around them.
The Ripple was on display at Kajaani Art Museum 23.2–16.3.2020 and 1.6.–23.8.2020.
